Product enhancements: UNIPAL frames…
A UNIPAL frame can be described as a three dimensional pallet that provides complete protection for its contents. It is stackable and can be fitted with a tailor-made interior support matrix, inflatable or foam cushions, or even an anti-corrosive box. The special construction of the UNIPAL frame enables us to flexibly adapt to our customers´ needs. The frame requires no glue and can be disassembled easily. It can be reused and components can be replaced or combined to achieve a maximum lifetime. The strong construction of UNIPAL frame is the perfect solution if you need more than a pallet.
UNIPAL Pallets Performance Testing
Independent tests have been performed by the William H. Sardo Jr. Pallet & Container Research Laboratory at the Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg, VA and the RVR Package Testing Center located in Houston, TX. Results of these tests have proven the UNIPAL pallets to be superior in performance in many areas to all other corrugated pallets tested at these same facilities. Today, UNIPAL pallets are used worldwide to transport goods exceeding 1 ton (2,200 pounds) in weight.

UNIPAL Corrugated Sales Market:
Export and domestic ports are slowly closing to wood pallets by mandated law due to insect infestation. Shortage of wood, fuel cost, weight to transport, landfills closing to wood pallets and the environmental push for green products are all causing a huge change to the pallet industry.
Reports state there are 1.9 billion pallets in circulation yearly in the US. Over 60% of the 1.9 billion pallets are replaced by new pallets. 92% of the current market is wood pallets, plastic is 6%, and corrugated is 2%.
Manufacturers without exception are looking for an alternative to wood pallets.
